POLAR dogs stay in loving foster homes where they are socialized, loved and evaluated to determine the best type of environment for their personalities and individual needs.

If you’re interested in meeting one of our adoptable dogs, an application must be submitted and approved first. Once approved, we will contact you immediately to schedule a meet. The adoption application can be found here: Adoption Application. We require a home visit with the pet before finalizing the adoption and we make every attempt to have this coincide with the meet.

Once a home visit is completed, and the applicant feels that it is a fit, the adoption donation will be requested. An Adoption Contract is the final step in our application process and alerts us that medical records need to be sent via email.

Adoption fees vary due to what vetting the dog needs.

This includes Spay/neuter, heartworm test/current on preventive, dewormer, all core vaccines, and microchip.
